I had the pleasure of attending Ace of All Trades’ Creation of an Asshole, and I’m happy to report that the evening lived up to its promise.
Held at a beautiful private waterfront estate, the scenery did not disappoint. Tropical greenery, colorful lighting and a dock beneath a bright, star-filled Miami sky created an intimate backdrop for the evening.
The crowd was refreshingly diverse and the atmosphere felt less like a traditional concert and more like a really, really nice house party. Guests enjoyed a delicious vegan Pad Thai-style mushroom entrĂ©e with spicy Haitian-style rice and beans, along with soft drinks, herbal tea and tonic. An excellent DJ kept things moving throughout the night, while openers Mouse and MSYJ warmed up the crowd and set the tone for Ace’s arrival.
Ace emerged for his first set in a crisp white tuxedo before switching things up with a royalesque black open gown trimmed in gold. Performing barefoot during his second set, Ace appeared completely at home on stage â and judging by the amount of female attention he received, the ladies certainly approved.

The evening also featured some unexpected performance art. A choreography dancer made quite the entrance by emerging directly from the pool before taking the stage, while a separate fire dancer lit up the waterfront with performances alongside the pool and dock.
The pool eventually became part of the party itself, with guests hopping in while the festivities continued around them.
Between the food, music, spoken word, performances and gorgeous waterfront setting, the entire evening felt thoughtfully put together without losing its intimate appeal. Ace even stuck around afterward to take photos with guests at the event’s photo booth.
Professional, personal and plenty of fun.
Faro Faucet certainly enjoyed the evening. We’ll be keeping an eye on what Ace of All Trades gets into next.
